Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Effectively manage the sales team to ensure monthly sales targets are met.
team Development: Motivate, mentor, and train the sales team to help them achieve their goals.
Sales Target Planning: Collaborate with management to outline monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
Market Intelligence: Monitor the market and competitive products, and provide periodic Market Intelligence reports to management.
Customer Satisfaction: Review customer requirements and improve customer service and satisfaction indices.
Dealer Network Expansion: Work on expanding the dealer network.
Customer Activation: Focus on acquiring new customers on a monthly/quarterly basis, with an emphasis on high-value clients.
Customer-Centric Approach: Drive a customer-centric approach and ensure potential customer visits regularly.
Team Development: Develop recruitment and training plans to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
Sales Reports: Ensure sales reports are submitted periodically by the sales team and analyze them for effective sales team management deliverables.
Monthly MIS: Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for sales and submit them to top management.
Skills and Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Head of Sales in industrial products sales, preferably in the plastic pallet industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales.
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with management qualifications and computer proficiency.
Age between 40 and 50 years.
In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, methods, and employee motivation techniques.
Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
Experience:
Total work: 10 years (Preferred).
